Landfill Rules and Regulations
Proper Disposal Requirements are based on operation considerations and State and Federal Regulations.
Failure to comply with Landfill Disposal Rules may be a violation
of State Statute and/or County Ordinance and may be
PUNISHABLE BY FINE
- All Vehicles must cross scales upon entering Landfill
- All loads arriving at the Landfill must be properly covered or tarped to prevent spillage
- No Scavenging is permitted at the Landfill
- For Safety: Keep all children and pets in vehicle at all times
- Sort waste types as you load for easier off-loading at the landfill
- Be aware of wastes banned from disposal in Landfill

- Hazardous Wastes
- Cardboard
- Used Motor Oil
- Lead-Acid batteries
- Liquid Wastes
- WHite goods
- Tires
- Radioactive Wastes
- Wet Sludges
- Aluminum cans (bulk)
- Metal Drums - unless empty and perforated
- Yard Wastes
- Automobiles
- Ash (unless approved)
- Regulated Medical Wastes
- Friable Asbestos

- Yard Waste Drop-Off Area. No painted or treated wood allowed
- Landfill
- Tire Drop-Off Trailers. Tires must be off the rim.
